KLONDIKE MINER'S MOSS
Unlike other matting, "Klondike" miner's moss was developed by Geolaser specifically to catch fine gold and protect it from abrasion from the gravel that pounds over it each second during the mining and recovery process.
The pounding and grinding of sand and gravel on the exposed gold can have an abrasive affect on the small gold particles to make them even smaller and easier to lose. The added mat thickness, weave and density, can also help the gold avoid being picked up by larger clay particles that can pack them out of the box.
