AERO Dry Concentrators

Dry Concentrator (DRY-Table) is designed and configured for concentration, separation and recovery of metals and minerals concentrate in dry mode and without the use of water. Dry concentration has many advantages over wet concentration methods, except when water is actually required as a solvent or when wet working is  required prior to concentration and separation.

APPLICATION:

AERO DRY CONCENTRATOR in configuration with AERO Dry Processing Plant (SPD), offers the opportunity to exploit and recover metals and minerals from dry deposits, which were left due to the lack of water.

Dry Concentrator is configured for concentration, separation and recovery of free-flowing material finer than (-2 mm) or (10 Mesh B.S.)

For concentration, separation and recovery of materials with close fraction of particle density, which are not amenable to wet concentration methods.

In configuration with DOVE Dry Processing Plant (SPD), for concentration, separation and recovery of diamonds, color gemstones, gold, and other precious metals, base metals, ferrous metals, light metals, etc.

To be configured after Hard-Rock Crushing Plant (ie. Mobile or Stationary Crushing Plants) for dry concentration and recovery of gold, other precious metals, base metals, ferrous metals, light metals, etc.

To be configured in a wet processing plant for concentration, separation and recovery of metals and other minerals after Dual Flow Rotary Dryer.

To be deployed as a stand-alone unit for concentration and recovery of metals, precious stones and other minerals out of beach sand.

ADVANTAGES:

Dry Concentrator offers unique advantages over Wet Concentration methods. Consider these advantages:

- Dry concentrator produces higher grade products with less concentrate loss than wet concentration methods.

- Dry Concentration plants may be located anywhere regardless of water supply. There is no water to pump or bring in from a distance, therefore eliminating that cost.

- Increases capacity and cuts down on the number of units and space necessary; resulting in smaller and less expensive plants with lower power costs.

- Due to the greater sensitivity to slight differences in density of the particles, dry concentration will successfully treat ores which are not amenable to wet concentration.

- Ore may be efficiently separated at the economical releasing point of the minerals, thus making it possible to treat ore at a much more finely ground stage and reduces the cost of production.

OPERATING PRINCIPLES:

The DRY CONCENTRATOR (DRY-TABLE) is designed in order to concentrate and effectively separate metals & minerals composed of particles with different specific gravities.

The Dry Concentrator is influenced by the specific gravity of the feed material, as well as the size characteristics. For effective operation the specific gravity of the feed material should be in excess of (2.8 ratio) difference. The Dry Concentrator effects dilation by a combination of eccentric movement of Vibrating-deck, as well as a continuous stream of air through the deck, in a controlled configuration.

The ideal feed size for the Dry Concentrator is below (-2 mm) and the feed size should be close in range of sizing, which can be accomplished by utilizing Vibrating Sieves, or Screens. The near size uniformity of the particle size is essential as an effective operating factor.

The fluidity of the deck depends up on the size of the feed, as well as the Air-Flow and the eccentric action of the dry concentrator. the Dry concentrator is configured with various controls, which allows to control the fluidity of the deck by adjusting the Air-Flow, Stroke-Length, Speed, deck's longitudinal-Tilt, and the Feed-rate.

Aero Dry Mining Equipment and Machinery (Dry processing plants) are supplied in fourteen models with processing capacities of  50 tons/hour up to 450 tons/hour of dry ore, per single plant. They are configured for dry processing of placer or alluvial, primary or hard rock applications.

APPLICATION:

AERO Dry mining equipment and machinery (Dry Minerals Processing Plants) are designed and configured for classification, concentration, separation and recovery of metals and minerals concentrate in dry mode and without the use of water. Dry processing has many advantages over wet processing except when water is actually required prior to concentration and separation.

AERO Dry mining/Dry Processing Plants (DPPTM) and (DPHTM) are designed and configured for concentration, separation and recovery of diamonds, color gemstones, gold, other precious metals, light metals and other heavy metals, either from placer (alluvial) deposits or primary (hard rock) applications.

AERO Dry mining equipment and machinery (Dry Processing Plants) are supplied in two different ranges of (DPPTM) configured for dry processing of placer (alluvial) deposits or the (DPHTM) range configured for dry processing of primary deposits (hard rock). In the event of placer (alluvial) deposits, the (DPPTM ) is installed as is. In the event of primary deposits, the Dry Trommel is removed and the (DPHTM ) is installed after the rock reduction (crushing/screening/grinding) plant. The crushed ore is fed into the (DPHTM ) screener module directly by the conveyer system.

Due to greater sensitivity to slight differences in density of the particles, DPPTM  Processing Plant will successfully treat ores whiсh are not amenable to wet  concentration in the gravity separation methods.

Dry ore may be efficiently separated at the economical releasing point of the minerals,  thus making sure the resulting products are dry and are handled, shipped and  marketed at a lower cost than wet processing methods.

Since no water is needed to produce separation, climatic conditions will not affect  efficient operation.
